How Do Vape Detectors Notify Me?
Clarion’s Vape Detectors uses the cloud to send an SMS text message and email alert of vaping incidents, excessive noise anomalies, and device tampering. Users will be able to set up the email and phone number of whichever monitors and staff they want to receive the alerts and the alert will indicate the location where vaping is sensed.

How Vape Detectors Work
3D Sense uses a combination of state-of-the-art sensors to notify school administrators of multiple events. The vape sensor can accurately gauge the likelihood and severity of vaping. When this level reaches a threshold, an alert is automatically sent to the relevant staff, SLT, Site Team and anyone else you may designate as a Vape Monitor.

How is vaping detected?
Our detectors use an array of sensors to notify administrators of multiple events. The vape sensor can accurately gauge the likelihood and severity of vaping. When this level reaches a threshold, an alert is automatically sent to the relevant staff, SLT, Site Team, and anyone else you may designate.
Are Vape Detectors Preconfigured?
Yes. Your sensors will be preconfigured to the cloud platform before delivery so they are ready to work straight away. This is a complimentary service.
How many detectors will I need?
The amount of detectors needed depends on the style of cubicles you have as well as the layout of the cubicles. Open Cubicles: The cubicle has an open space at the top or bottom for ventilation. Due to open ventilation, 1 detector will cover an area of 6-8 cubicles (dependent on layout). Floor-to-Ceiling Cubicles: The cubical doors and walls reach from floor to ceiling, creating an enclosed space. In almost all cases these style cubicles will need one detector per cubicle. (Numbers vary depending on the layout of cubicles.)
What's the difference between the 3D Sense, Plus & Pro?
The original 3D Sense is an effective vape detector. The Plus offers vape detection, tamper alerts and siren. The updated 3D Sense Pro includes all the power of the 3D Sense and additional features, making it a complete school safety device.
